HVAC Replacement & Installation In Austin

Replacing your HVAC system is a big decision, and choosing new equipment is only part of it. Whether your current system has failed or you're starting to plan ahead, we'll help you understand when replacement makes sense, what your options are, and what to expect when you're ready to move forward.
How Do I Know It’s Time To Replace My HVAC System?
Age alone doesn't mean your HVAC system needs to be replaced. The decision depends on what has failed, the cost and practicality of repairing it, the condition of the rest of the system, and how well the equipment is still meeting your home's needs.
A major component failure, increasingly frequent repairs, declining performance, or equipment approaching the end of its expected service life can all be reasons to start considering replacement. If your system is still operating, planning ahead also gives you time to compare your options and budget for the project instead of making a major decision during an unexpected breakdown.
Not sure whether you're there yet? We can help you compare the cost and condition of your existing system with your replacement options before you decide.
What Are My HVAC Replacement Options?
Most homes can be served by several different types of heating and cooling systems. Which one makes sense depends on your existing equipment and infrastructure, how you want to heat your home, your comfort priorities, and whether you're interested in changing how the home is currently conditioned.

AC & FURNACE
A traditional central system with an air conditioner for cooling and a gas or propane furnace for heating.

HEAT PUMP
An all-electric central system that provides both heating and cooling, with electric auxiliary heat available when additional heating is needed.
We also install specialty systems, including:

DUEL FUEL
A heat pump paired with a gas or propane furnace, allowing the system to use the heat pump for heating and cooling while retaining a furnace as a supplementary heat source.

MINI-SPLITS/ DUCTLESS
Individual or multi-zone heat-pump systems that can condition spaces without relying on a traditional central duct system.
Not sure which direction makes sense? We'll help you compare the options that are practical for your home before you choose equipment.
What Do You Check Before Recommending A System For My Home?
Before recommending new equipment, we look at more than the size of the system you already have. We consider your home's heating and cooling needs, existing equipment and infrastructure, electrical requirements, ductwork and airflow, controls, drainage, and any comfort or humidity concerns you've experienced. We also look for anything that could affect the installation or keep the new equipment from performing the way it should.
The goal is to recommend equipment that makes sense for your home and how you use it, rather than simply replacing the old system with whatever happens to be the same size.
What Does The Price Include?
Every replacement includes the equipment, professional installation, system setup and commissioning, with additional installation features and after-install support depending on the package you choose.
We offer three installation packages for our standard ac/furnace and heat pump match-ups.

Replacing Your HVAC System Is A Good Time To Look At The Rest Of Your Home
New HVAC equipment still has to work with the rest of your home. When you're already planning a replacement, it's a good opportunity to look at the conditions that can affect how well that new system performs. That doesn't mean every home needs additional work—but if something should be addressed, it's better to identify it while we're planning the project.
DUCTWORK & AIRFLOW
Make sure the new system can move air effectively through the existing duct system.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY
Consider filtration and other air-quality improvements while planning the new system.

HUMIDITY & DEHUMIDIFICATION
Consider if your home can benefit from additional humidity control.

FRESH-AIR VENTILATION
Evaluate ventilation needs and how outdoor air will be introduced and managed.
What Happens After I Decide?
Financing & Rebates
You don't have to have every financial detail figured out before you start planning your replacement. We can help you understand available financing options and identify utility or local rebate programs that may apply to your project.
Some rebate programs have specific equipment, efficiency, testing, or approval requirements, so it's important to identify those opportunities before the equipment is installed. If you're interested in rebates, let us know while we're building your project so eligible requirements can be considered as part of the system and installation plan.
Once the project scope and payment arrangements are finalized, we'll work with you to schedule the installation.

What Should I Expect On Installation Day?
We'll remove the equipment being replaced, install the new system and included components, connect it to the existing infrastructure included in your project scope, and start up and test the system before we're finished. If your project includes additional ductwork, electrical, drainage, controls, or other improvements, those items will be coordinated as part of the agreed project scope. We will also handle scheduling any required permits and be there for any follow-up inspections.
Once you've chosen the system that's right for your home, we'll confirm the project details, identify any available financing or rebate opportunities, and work with you to get the installation scheduled. We'll also explain what to expect after installation, including inspections, equipment registration, and warranty coverage.
Warranty & Ongoing Support
Our involvement doesn't end when the new system starts running. After installation, we'll complete the applicable equipment registration and help coordinate required inspections and project closeout. Your warranty coverage will depend on the equipment and installation package you selected, and we'll explain what is covered and what you need to do to maintain that coverage.
Every system we install also includes after-the-install support. Depending on the equipment package you choose, your installation will include a period of scheduled maintenance visits so we can continue checking the system after it has been put into service. The length of coverage and number of included visits vary by package.
Once your included maintenance period ends, you can continue with one of our recurring maintenance memberships or schedule maintenance as needed.
